MBC 듀엣가요제에서 김윤아와 환상적인 콜라보레이션으로 주목받고 있는 채보훈, 그의 밴드 [더 베인]의 첫 정규 앨범의 선공개곡 [Alone]을 소개한다.
지나간 기억 어디쯤 홀로 서 있는 한 사람, 그 기억은 희미해 졌지만 추억은 그 시간 속에 그대로 남아 있다고 노래한다. 몽환적이면서도 감각적인 스타일의 이 곡은 파워풀한 보컬의 전작들과 달리 좀 더 섬세한 음색을 만들어 내는데 집중했다. U-Hoo라는 가제로 2016년 초부터 시작한 작업이 거의 1년이 걸릴 만큼 전체적인 공간감과 목소리의 색감을 위해 오랜 시간 고민을 한 곡이다.
